Mission/Vision
Our prayer is that children and youth all over the world will come to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
Awana is a world-wide nonprofit ministry focused on providing Bible-based evangelism and discipleship solutions for ages 2-18. As the global leader in child and youth discipleship, Awana gives children the opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus, no matter their background.
Our local club in Jarrettsville, MD works with children age 3 through 8th grade. We seek to reach children in Harford County, Baltimore County and York County, PA with the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Be diligent to present youself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
– 2 Timothy 2:15
Awana Classes

Ages 3-4. Awana Cubbies is a two-year club program for preschoolers in the two years prior to kindergarten. Our purpose is to help your child take their first little step on a lifelong journey. In the Bible, parents are instructed to teach their children about God’s Word, little by little, day by day. The Cubbies program is designed to help leaders and parents in this critical role.

Kindergarten to 2nd Grade. Awana Cubbies is a three-year club program for school-age children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Our purpose is to help teach your child about the people and events of the Bible. This builds a foundation of wisdom for knowing Jesus.

3rd Grade to 6th Grade. Truth & Training engages third- through sixth-graders and answers their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is achieved through a biblically-based curriculum that focuses on living out one’s faith through a life of grace.

7th Grade to 8th Grade. Trek is designed uniquely to deepen the faith of and equip middle schoolers with the big questions they face as they travel toward adulthood. Trek students will learn about God’s character, the themes of the stories of the Bible, spiritual disciplines, and how to rely on Christ as they encounter challenges in life.

9th Grade to 12th Grade. Journey establishes high school students as lifelong disciples through a deep study of God’s Word, mobilizing them to live with godly perspective and evident faith.
