Chafer Theological Seminary

Our mission is to glorify God in partnership with local churches by training Bible teachers and equipping disciples for service in building up the body of Christ.

Chafer Seminary was begun by academically-credentialed pastors and missionaries who had grown frustrated with the theological chaos and shallowness in so-called evangelical circles, with the neglect of consistent Biblical instruction adequate to cope with the trials of living in a neo-pagan culture, and with the traditional financial and geographical obstacles to seminary level training within a student’s home church location. The seminary, therefore, has worked diligently to make quality training available via internet technology so that students can remain in their local church community and immediately utilize their training in local ministry opportunities.

Academic Training Program: Students can enroll in courses for credit toward a Masters of Biblical Education degree or a Theological Masters degree if they have a college degree or for a certificate if they do not. Or students can enroll for personal enrichment and local ministry and can do so either for credit that can be used later or for simple auditing the course. Chafer courses are administrated in two ways: either as scheduled courses in the Fall or Spring semester, or as self-paced courses.
